To answer your question on how to uninstall ArcSoft MediaImpression from Windows 10, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the Settings cogwheel.
  2. Go to Apps > Apps & features.
  3. In the list of installed applications, scroll down to find ArcSoft MediaImpression.
  4. Click on ArcSoft MediaImpression and you should see an Uninstall button.
  5. Click Uninstall and follow the prompts to remove the software from your computer.

If you're having trouble uninstalling through the Settings, you might try using a third-party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller, which can help remove stubborn applications.

Regarding the version of the software for Windows 10, you would need to check the official ArcSoft website or contact their support to confirm compatibility and availability for Windows 10, as their software offerings and compatibility may have changed.

Will 2.0 work on Windows 10? Right now, I wish I would have never updated.

Stephen Prastman
Answer by Stephen Prastman

Media Impression is compatible only with the following versions of Windows: Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. There is also version 3.5.XXXX but that is recommended to be installed only on the mentioned Windows versions above. As you can see, MediaImpression 2.0 won't be compatible with Windows 10 OS.

The version you have does not work on Windows 8, but you can download a new and improved version of this application from its official website. The version of MediaImpression is now 3.5.0.1124. Officially, it does not have support for Windows 8, but it will work because it's fully supported on Windows 7 on both architectures.

How can I change the entire background color of a photo? I want the background to have a single color. Is this possible?

A
Answer by Aiden McLeod

Unfortunately, the program doesn't have a feature that can do this automatically. You can use the available features under the Edit menu and do this by yourself. To use the editing tools, first you need to select a photo. If you have problems regarding the program, use the Help menu for more information.

I need to know if ArcSoft MediaImpression software is compatible with Canon cameras. I do not want to purchase the software if I can't use it to edit my photos, videos, and create discs from my Canon product.

Answer by Sean Hill

No, the application won't work with Canon cameras, however, if you access the product page for your Canon camera, there should be applications available to edit the content captured with the Canon camera. Access the Canon Support page and identify your camera, then download the utilities and tools available for the product. You should be able to edit photos, videos, as well as to create discs.
